The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art Youth Council
The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art Youth Council
The Brooks Museum of Art Youth Council offers high school students the opportunity to engage with art, develop civic and team-building skills, and learn about careers within the museum. The Youth Council is a small cohort of students who get behind-the-scenes access to the museum, plan a program for teens, curate an exhibition of student work, and learn about the museum’s exhibitions and collections. The work of the Youth Council is fully driven by the voices of the members.
