Ways to give

Tennessee Arts Commission

Purchasing a specialized license plate is an easy and visible way to show your support for the arts in Tennessee. The revenue generated from the sale of specialty plates is the primary source of funding for the Tennessee Arts Commission’s grant programs, which help support the museum.

The Tennessee Arts Commission was created in 1967 by the Tennessee General Assembly with the special mandate to stimulate and encourage the presentation of the visual, literary, music and performing arts and to encourage public interest in the cultural heritage of Tennessee.

Anytime a Tennessee resident purchases a specialty license plate, a portion of the proceeds supports the arts. Find your specialty plate or purchase a Gift-A-Tag voucher to give a specialty plate as a gift.
