Who You See and Who We Are: A reflection on teenage identity, culture, and change
Every day you interact with countless amounts of people, but have you ever truly seen them for who they are? In our diverse society, it is important to celebrate the beauty and uniqueness of all identities and experiences. This exhibit explores the many facets of teenage identity and the changes that come with adolescence, featuring works by some of the most talented teen artists in the Memphis area. The Memphis Brooks Youth Council, consisting of 9 high school students, curated the show hoping to give young artists a platform to express themselves and share who they are.
