Join us on July 8th, from 2 - 3:30p, for the opening reception of 'Faces and Spaces: Narrative Painting' inspired by the style of Harmonia Rosales. This artwork was produced from our newly launched Inspired Aging program.
Inspired Aging is a series of free multi-session studio art course for adults 55+. These courses are designed to offer lifelong learning and social connection through the arts. Throughout the span of eight weeks, Inspired Aging participants focused their time creating one narrative painting alongside Memphis artist and educator Sarah Nowlin. Paintings from this course are inspired by the work of 'Harmonia Rosales: Master Narrative'.
Local Artists: Perry Bonan, Janice Bratcher, Sandra Gallagher, Richard Givhan, Peggy Jenkins, Jonita Johnson, Vicki Kinder, Brenda Landman, Mary Ann McCraw, William McCulley, Janice Robinson
