Join us for our eighth art history lecture taught by Professor Rebecca Howard.

Lesson description: The 15th century can best be described as an age of global trade and exploration, as well as exploitation and colonization. In this lecture, we will discuss the artistic products of exploitation and exchange between Europe, the Americas both before and after colonization, the kingdoms and ancestral tribes of Africa, and empires in east and southeast Asia.

Lectures will be taught in the education studio at the Brooks Museum of Art. Limited seating available with tickets for $20 or free for our Brooks Docents. More information on becoming a docent available here.
