Join us for our sixth art history lecture taught by Professor Rebecca Howard.
Lesson description: This lecture will explore the artistic impact of the incredibly influential Christian Church. Learn about large-scale church complexes, advances in architecture and masonry, and the transformative powers of stained glass. This is the age of pilgrimages, reliquaries, furtum sacrum (holy robbery), and church architecture reaching ever increasing heights.
