Health & Safety Protocols

The Brooks has instituted new health, procedural, and safety protocols. Learn more about the steps the Brooks is taking to keep you safe while you and your family visit your museum. 

 

Hours

Monday & Tuesday : Closed
Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Thursday & Friday:  10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

The museum is closed New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Museum admission is always free for members. Join today!

 Senior Adult (65+)

 Students (with student ID)

 Youth (7 - 17)

 $5*

 Children (6 and under)

 Free*

 

*Children 13 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Every Wednesday is Orion Free Wednesday with free admission from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Orion Federal Credit Union.

Blue Star Museum

We are proud to participate in Blue Star Museums, a partnership among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, Joining Forces, MetLife Foundation, and museums across the country. Memphis Brooks Museum of Art offers free entry for all active duty, National Guard and Reserve military personnel and their families all year long.

 

Policies

To protect the art, we ask our visitors not to touch. Look, linger, think, converse, and enjoy, but please help us by remaining at least six inches from the art. 

Safety + Security Guidelines

Visit Image Services for our photography policy.

The last ticket is sold 30 minutes before closing. Tickets include admission to all current special exhibitions and permanent collection. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and cash. An ATM is not available.

*Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

To protect the art, backpacks are not allowed in the galleries. Please check all backpacks at the Welcome Desk.

Please remember, no food or drink is allowed in the galleries.

FREE Wednesdays

Thanks to our friends at Orion, on Wednesdays, admission is free, donations accepted. From a penny to any dollar amount, you decide what you can pay. If you're part of a group of 10 or more people, please call our Tour Coordinator at 901.544.6215.
