Brooks’ Homeschool Program is committed to keeping Mid-South families safe while providing excellent arts integration curriculum that can be enjoyed from home.
Whether you're a veteran home educator or new to home learning, register your family for Brooks' VIRTUAL Homeschool Days and receive free lesson plans for grades 1-12 delivered directly to your email inbox this fall. Lesson plan activities are inspired by artwork in Brooks' collection and special exhibitions, include TN State learning standards by grade level, and encourage students to build connections between visual art, language arts, social studies, and science among other disciplines.

Discover how contemporary artists featured in the special exhibition Native Voices, 1950’s to Now: Art for a New Understanding define their ideas about “home,” convey complicated histories, and advocate for the preservation of earth’s natural resources using visual art.

Explore domestic scenes and objects from around the world in Brooks’ impressive collection of artwork. Learn about Dia de los Muertos ofrendas, Renaissance home devotional practices, and making memory visible through art.

Making and studying visual art can be a wonderful tool for expressing complicated thoughts and emotions, while promoting mental and emotional wellbeing in all ages. Dive deep into Brooks' Collection of abstract and contemporary artwork to inspire happiness in your home.
