SAVE THE DATE for this year's annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration! Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and Cazateatro Bilingual Theatre Group hold this annual event, where families are invited to honor ancestors and celebrate the cycle of life and death.
To ensure everyone stays safe, we'll host the "reverse parade" again this year. There will be floats and altars in Overton Park, and visitors will drive through the park to enjoy the celebration. An audio tour will be featured, and special hands-on art kits for families to do at home will also be available. More details will be posted in this event as plans come together!
Admission is free for the whole community!
¡RESERVE LA FECHA para la celebración anual del Día de los Muertos de este año! Memphis Brooks Museum y Cazateatro Bilingual Theatre Group realizan este evento anual, donde se invita a las familias a honrar a los antepasados y celebrar el ciclo de la vida y la muerte.
Debido a la Pandemia del Covid- 19, organizaremos el "desfile inverso" nuevamente este año. Habrá carrozas y altares en Overton Park, y los visitantes conducirán por el parque para disfrutar de la celebración. Se ofrecerá un recorrido de audio y también estarán disponibles kits de artes especiales para que las familias lo hagan en casa. ¡Se publicarán más detalles en este evento a medida que los planes se unan!

Iris at the Brooks: An Afternoon of Music & Art. This concert series not only features an hour of beautiful chamber music from some of Iris Orchestras fabulous musicians and guest artist Zlatomir Fung on cello, but also includes a special look at the latest Memphis Brooks Museum of Art exhibitions, plus a delicious catered reception. Enjoy your "Sunday Funday" with an afternoon of music, art, and wine!
