In association with Emerging Pictures, a New York-based film company, the Brooks screens award-winning independent films every month in the Dorothy K. Hohenberg Auditorium. VIP film passes are available to members for $35, which includes one year of free film admission and discounts in the Brushmark Restaurant the night of the film. The Brushmark is open for dinner every Thursday night featuring tapas; seasonal entrees by Chefs Wally Joe and Andrew Adams; wine and specialty cocktails; and indoor and outdoor seating from 5-9 pm. This award-winning film follows a homeless veteran who survived the trauma of WWII internment camps, Hiroshima, and 9/11 by creating art. Screened in conjunction with the Brooks’ art therapy project Hands of Honor. A tour of the veterans exhibition will precede the film at 6 pm.

Part Two focuses on the revolutionary’s later actions in Africa and South America, eventually being captured and killed by rangers in Bolivia, backed by the CIA.
