Spring Break Chalk Art Festival

THE FESTIVAL has been rescheduled to THURSDAY, MARCH 13 at 10 am due to strong winds and lower temperatures than expected. However the Brooks and the Brushmark Restaurant are open today as usual. Free admission.
Celebrate spring break at the Memphis Brooks Museum and see the museum plaza transformed into a work of chalk art! Join local artists in creating surreal masterpieces in honor of Salvador Dalí or create your very own work of art. Free admission! No experience necessary.
Bright & colorful chalk will be available for sale (set of 12) for $3 , but supplies are limited: Feel free to BYOC (Bring Your Own Chalk)!
Guest Artists include: Sarah Barkowski, Emily Brown, William Godfrey, Cyril Henry, Raleecoh Ishakarah, Dimitri Stevens, Yancy Villa-Calvo, Jennifer Xiao, and Nassem Yousef

Park your car at Overton Square garage and ride the Memphis Hop shuttle to the Brooks Museum & the Memphis Zoo!
$2 per person roundtrip, children 4 and under ride for free. CASH ONLY.
Signs will be posted at Overton Square and Overton Park indicating exact pick-up and drop-off locations.
Drop off locations within Overton Park include:
Overton Park Ave and Kenilworth for those visiting the Memphis Zoo
Kenilworth and Morrie Moss Lane for those attending the Spring Break Chalk Festival at the Brooks Museum.
