Comedian Steve Coogan takes
top billing in this black-and-white biopic about the late Paul Raymond, the man
behind swinging Soho’s notorious Raymond Revue Bar and Men Only magazine. Although he’s not a household name in the United
States, Raymond had a meteoric rise from humble beginnings as a mind reader to
one of Britain’s leading nude revue producers—a role that landed him the Sunday Times’ “richest man in Britain”
title in 1992. With period music and scrumptious set design setting the tone, The Look of Love focuses on Raymond’s
relationships with the three most important women in his life: his
long-suffering wife Jean, mistress Fiona, and spoiled daughter Debbie, who pays
the highest price for her father’s reputation as a serial womanizer and smut
