Join the Brooks and Facing History and Ourselves for a special screening of Whose History, an episode of the docu-series America Divided. Whose History, featuring correspondent Jussie Smollett, explores how Tennessee and Memphis in particular has faced our legacies of racism and white supremacy with a focus on the take down of the confederate monuments and the recognition of lynchings. The film includes interviews with Memphis activists and organizations working to create a more just and equitable city. America Divided is an EPIX Original docu-series, executive produced by Norman Lear, Shonda Rhimes and Common, which features narratives around inequality in education, housing, healthcare, labor, criminal justice and the political system. Facing History and Ourselves will lead a discussion after the film.
