As a way to enhance visitors’ experience with the museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions, the museum offers free audio tours in both English and Spanish. Audio tours can be accessed on the Brooks’s app for iPhone and Android smart phones, or on an iPod Touch that can be checked out from the Visitor Services staff.
The objects featured on the tours include art from the ancient Mediterranean, Renaissance and Baroque paintings from the Kress collection, American art from as early as the 1700s, French Impressionists, and contemporary art to the present. A range of materials, subjects, artists, and styles are represented.
